About Me:

I have been a massage therapist for more than twenty years, practicing since 2003. I studied and received my certification at NHI in Emeryville, California and am licensed in the state of Oregon. I specialize in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release & Soft Tissue Manipulation.

Treatment sessions are tailored, oftentimes geared toward pain relief, injury recovery and relaxation. I work deep, and I am skilled at working specific structures, addressing culprit muscles, their synergists & antagonists, and surrounding fascia.

In my practice I have always been passionate about the study of anatomy, health & the human body, and life sciences. Most of my continuing education courses are in Medical Massage, Anatomy Labs and Musculoskeletal Health & Science.

In addition to therapeutic massage, I am a visual artist with a rigorous studio practice. I have a BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, and a MFA from University of California at Berkeley. Visit www.narangkar.com to learn more about me as an artist.

I love what I do. It’s a privilege to be able to help you feel better

Your feedback is important in controlling the pressure of the massage for your comfort and well-being. It is your responsibility in any bodywork session to communicate your needs regarding quality of touch.
